(2 customer reviews)
Price range: $4.50 through $7.50

Smoky, creamy, and still wonderfully stringy — our Ron’s Smoked String Cheese brings farmstead flavor to your snack time, or sandwiches.

Indulge in a bold twist on a classic favorite with our Ron’s Smoked String Cheese, crafted right here in Wisconsin from milk from our own herd. This isn’t just your everyday mozzarella — we’ve smoked it to bring out savory richness while preserving its signature peel-apart texture.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Smoky & creamy flavor — a gentle smoke that enhances, not overpowers
  • Tender “stringy” texture — pull it apart, bite after bite
  • Simple & honest ingredients — pasteurized milk, cultures, salt, enzymes

How & When to Enjoy

Here are some tasty serving ideas to make the most of its smoky goodness:

  • Snack it straight from the fridge for a smoky, satisfying chew
  • Add to grilled cheese sandwiches or paninis for extra depth
  • Serve on charcuterie boards — pairs well with cured meats, pickles, and beer

Not a fan of the smoke, then you will love our regular string cheese.

Absolutely the most delicious smoked string cheese we’ve ever had. We aren’t from WI but ask our family from there to bring back several packs when they visit us.
Don’t hesitate to try this cheese if you like smoked foods!

Best smoked cheese of any kind I’ve had. Went back to Lautenbach’s for a second bag when in Door County
