Long before โfarm-to-tableโ became a buzzword โ and before cheese curds became a foodie favorite โ Ronโs Wisconsin Cheese was steadily building its reputation. With each delivery, the company earned recognition for quality, consistency, and old-fashioned Midwest service.
The story begins in the small town of Luxemburg, Wisconsin. It didnโt start on a dairy farm but in a modest facility with one mission: bring great Wisconsin cheese to more people.

In its earliest days, Ronโs wasnโt making cheese. Instead, the company partnered with local cheesemakers and dairy cooperatives to distribute fresh Wisconsin cheese to retailers, small shops, and families across the region.
From deli counters to grocery coolers, Ronโs products became a familiar sight throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Reliable service and consistent quality built trust with both cheesemakers and customers โ relationships that still exist today.
Whether delivering squeaky curds to a corner store or assembling holiday gift boxes, Ronโs earned loyalty by showing up, keeping it local, and always delivering flavor.

By the early 2000s, Ronโs had become a well-known name in the region. This recognition didnโt come from flashy advertising but from word of mouth.
Local grocers trusted Ronโs to keep shelves stocked. Families recognized the red-and-white labels in deli cases. Cheese lovers knew they could rely on Ronโs for a true taste of Wisconsin.
Still, something was missing โ a deeper connection to the cheese itself.

In 2015, Pagelโs Ponderosa Dairy saw an opportunity to bring Ronโs full circle โ from distributor to farmstead producer. The Pagel family acquired the company and moved production operations to their own dairy farm.
Now, the same company that once sourced cheese from others could craft it themselves, using milk from cows raised on their land.
It was a natural next step โ a trusted distributor joining forces with one of Wisconsinโs most respected dairy families to create a true farm-to-table brand.
